Dowagiac Area Federal Credit Union is a member owned non-profit financial institution. We provide services to persons living or working in Wayne, LaGrange, Silver Creek, Pokagon, Penn, Volinia, Marcellus, Decatur and Paw Paw townships in Cass and Van Buren counties, as well as members of their family by blood or marriage. The Board of Directors is made up of seven members who have been elected from the membership of the credit union.  There is a three member Supervisory Committee who is appointed by the Board of Directors.  All the volunteers give their time freely and receive no compensation. The credit union was organized in September 1972 by the Sundstrand Employees.  In 1978 we became a Community Chartered Credit Union. SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT Recent reports have indicated a breach of information pertaining to consumer Credit Cards, Debit Cards and ATM Cards.  To help identify any suspicious activity it is very important to review your account statement when received or if you access your account through On-line Banking or use the Touch Tone Teller you can review account history. If you have any questions about a transaction that does not look familiar please contact the credit union office for additional information by calling 269-782-2410 or stop by the office during regular business hours of 9:00 am until 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday and 9:00 am until 12:30 pm on Saturday.
